The Grand Alcazar is a guest house, which is established in a beautiful Riad located in the Batha district in the middle of the medina of Fez, less than 1.5 km from the royal palace. Only 100 m from the public car park, the Riad is very easily accessible by car, by foot or by public transport, and can accommodate people with reduced mobility.

 

Built in 1944, then renovated in 2006 and 2018, the Riad used to belong to an important family of the Fassi nobility (the late Haj Mohammed Laghzaoui, director of the DGSN and former minister), who made it an architectural gem, very rich in traditional Fassis ornaments and decorations (Zellige, Carved plaster, Carved and hand painted wood, etc.). The house has been completely restored in accordance with the rules of the traditional architectural art of Fez by local craftsmen, retaining all its authenticity while providing it with the necessary technologies and equipment to make your stay as memorable, comfortable and exceptional as possible. .

 

The Riad has 10 rooms: 7 large suites, 1 junior suite, 1 double room and 1 small single room, all non-smoking. The suites can accommodate up to 4 people. Each of them has been decorated in a particular, traditional and authentic style, with high quality bedding and exceptionally beautiful furniture. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. With a private bathroom fitted with a bath, a bidet and a hairdryer, all rooms at the Grand Alcazar have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning / heating. All the suites have a lounge area, a dressing room, high-end bedding, and offer exceptional comfort.
